Dilettante's Diary: the internal dialogue of a hedonist bluestocking.

I am a dilettante. I know quite a bit about a lot of things, but I don't know enough to be an expert on anything. I have a very sensual, hedonistic nature, but I am also a thinker, and I aim one day to be worthy of the label 'bluestocking', despite its pejorative connotations.

This is my journal, which, delightfully enough, doesn't have to go wherever I go, but is accessible from nearly everywhere I am.

Finding the humour in it, pt 2

So, I called that client back with the info he wanted and he hit on me again. I treated it as something funny, but I told him I didn't think it was a good idea for him to meet me. And when he asked why, I laughingly asked, "What if we hit it off?" and he said, "That would be great!" and I told him "Nope, its a conflict of interest. I'm not allowed to date clients." Which may or may not be true, but it sure sounded good. Hopefully we won't mention it again.
