Dilettante's Diary: the internal dialogue of a hedonist bluestocking.

I am a dilettante. I know quite a bit about a lot of things, but I don't know enough to be an expert on anything. I have a very sensual, hedonistic nature, but I am also a thinker, and I aim one day to be worthy of the label 'bluestocking', despite its pejorative connotations.

This is my journal, which, delightfully enough, doesn't have to go wherever I go, but is accessible from nearly everywhere I am.

In MA

It wasa rough first few days but today was a good one. Tammy's first real pain-free day. Of course, that is with all her meds. Still it is encouraging. Going to Boston next week, taking her to the Layhey CLinic to try to get a diagnosis, trying to avoid surgery. I'm learning her system at the bar. I did her payroll today and counted the tills and made up the shift bags. Spent the afternoon hanging out at the bar with some of her staff and her regulars, letting them get a feel for me.

I'm beat. So much going on that I can't write about here, but atleast I"ll be reminded, if I need to be.
