Dilettante's Diary: the internal dialogue of a hedonist bluestocking.

I am a dilettante. I know quite a bit about a lot of things, but I don't know enough to be an expert on anything. I have a very sensual, hedonistic nature, but I am also a thinker, and I aim one day to be worthy of the label 'bluestocking', despite its pejorative connotations.

This is my journal, which, delightfully enough, doesn't have to go wherever I go, but is accessible from nearly everywhere I am.

Day 5

Its about 20 degrees. We had a good 15 to 18 inches of snow here in Springfield. It will be back up in the 40s by midweek, and the snow will melt off, mostly.

Tammy is feeling better, almost no pain that past 2 days and she's keeping food down. I"m not trusting it tho, I want to get her in for bloodwork. Still want to get her to Lahey Clinic for tests and diagnosis, too. She's doing better but I don't trust that she is healed. I've been sending a lot of metta her way... her medicine, her food, her drinks, all infused with as much love as I can put into them. Every time I touch her and hold her, Love. Wed and Thurs I was totally focussed on her, got my usual bad headache as a result of the hands-on stuff. Now I'm doing better, just a bit spacey, but I'm maintaining poise... I should have come sooner.
