Dilettante's Diary: the internal dialogue of a hedonist bluestocking.
I am a dilettante. I know quite a bit about a lot of things, but I don't know enough to be an expert on anything. I have a very sensual, hedonistic nature, but I am also a thinker, and I aim one day to be worthy of the label 'bluestocking', despite its pejorative connotations.

My goal for the week is to understand The Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen Paradox, which was their attack on quantum mechanics because it appeared to contradict relativity. Christie says the EPR Paradox does not disprove quantum mechanics, but rather, illustrates that it is counter-intuitive with regards to classical physics. So I'm supposed to find time to read up on quantum entanglement and some thought experiment by Bohm in order to help me understand. She says has faith in me, but I'm not feeling very confident.

While most would find that boring I would enjoy reading your interpretation of the argument after you have grasped it. It would make a nice blog (with a warning to the masses of its content). ;-)
i'm still trying to figure out how if you go back or forward in time to a place where you don't exist (before you were born or after you would die), how can you be there.
look foward to reading your thoughts on the subject of quantum theory.
Goal not yet achieved.
I need more time.
