Dilettante's Diary: the internal dialogue of a hedonist bluestocking.

I am a dilettante. I know quite a bit about a lot of things, but I don't know enough to be an expert on anything. I have a very sensual, hedonistic nature, but I am also a thinker, and I aim one day to be worthy of the label 'bluestocking', despite its pejorative connotations.

This is my journal, which, delightfully enough, doesn't have to go wherever I go, but is accessible from nearly everywhere I am.

Snuggling

I was awakened at 6am to Stephanie saying she wasn't feeling good and asking me to move over. So I moved over and she got into bed with me and we had a good snuggle. She was like a little kid--she put her arm around me and snuggled up against my chest and we both fell asleep. The alarm kept going off, but I didn't want to get out of bed. It felt so amazing--like being home. Its been too long since I lay with someone, our legs entangled, our breathing synchronized, just enjoying the feeling of well-being and contentment washing through me in gentle waves. An hour of snuggling! Wow. It made my day.
